I feel for these people, I really do. Cuz I’m one myself.
We hadden brand in het nieuwe huis vandaag.
We had a fire in the new house today.
Een niet goed uitgemaakte peuk was de oorzaak. Gelukkig hadden de vorige bewoners het brandalarm laten hangen. Door het brandalarm werden de buren gealarmeerd en zij hebben het vuur geblusd. De brandweer is daarna nog gekomen om te kijken of het allemaal wel gedoofd was. Wij waren niet thuis. We waren bij mijn moeder om te douchen (de badkamer is nog steeds niet klaar).
A not well extinguished cigarette was the cause. Luckily the former owners had left the fire alarm in place. This warned the neighbours that there was a fire. The neighbourghs put out the fire. We were not at home, we were at my mother’s to take a shower (bathroom is still under construction).
I know, it’s been quite awhile again since I last updated. But I’ve got a good excuse, several in fact:
- I’ve been ill for 2 weeks
- Reconstruction of the new house is taking up all my free time
- When I do have some time off I am too tired to do anything
So just bear with me until all of this is done and I’ll post a massive update.
